I used to sell alot of them under the McCreary name. Can't beat'm for tge money. Not a true drag race tire. But, I ran 6.20's on them years ago.

A buddy of mine built a notch back mustang with a grand national engine/trans. Had L60 McCrearys on it. Car looked stock, had a set of Aero wheels on it. Those were like $50 a piece. Thing was so quite didn't even hear it. With the McCreays and the car turned all the way up( high boost, race gas) that car went 9.40's. In drive around street trim, high 9's. this was back in about 2000. That car made us A LOT of money. Those tires flat out worked. But you had to get the right compound.

were are you guys buying these at? can ya use them on the street at all? Oh yes the G/60 McCreary's we ran on my boys Dart were a treaded tire that looked like a normal street tire. As for where to get them try Googling "American Racer Tires" as I believe they have a website. Ron

I used to run them! Great tire for the money. Glad they're still around!

Had some friends that used to run them on their mustangs. They really liked them...think the fastest of the group was in the 11s.

I was on there site yesterday. the ff tire would be the tire for street/strip I believe.it would be the correct size at 28.6/12.6/15. the dot tire requires a tube. some of their tires are on clearance for $20ea. just might get some. Where are you seeing prices? I didn't see a price anywhere.

Just like many tube type tires you can run tgese tubeless. We did. The 285/60 g tread is the best tire. They also make g60, l60, 295/50 and a 305/60. The 305 has the ugliest tread but, I went 6.20's on that tire.
They should be less than $150 a tire. When I soldvtgem regularly they were less than 100 a peice.
DO NOT BUY THE ASPALT TIRE. YOU WANT THE DIRT COMPOUND DOT TIRE.
I CAN STILL SELL THEM LAST TIME I CHECKED.
