So I have the jegs dual spring throttle bracket and a nice Lokar cable with the stock A body throttle pedal. Now I can adjust it and get WOT, but when you let off there isn't enough slack to return to the idle circuit. If I adjust so I have idle then I only get about 30% throttle. And that's not any fun. I thought about maybe putting the throttle stud in the rear hole that is open but at WOT that hole goes below the bracket. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. ![](http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp184/jkloth81/IMG_20160507_141758751_HDR.jpg)

Is the lever on the pedal itself bent? Can you bend it so the pedal itself sits higher and has more travel?

For one thing.. move the return springs to the hole that you have the cable in... put the cable in the top hole.. then move the cable housing mount if needed ![wave wave](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/wave.gif)

If he puts the cable in the top hole it should take even more pedal travel to get wot.

If he puts the cable in the top hole it should take even more pedal travel to get wot. This is true... BUT.. how do you pull up hill when it still needs to down farther.. I didnt have any problems using a stock pedal on my doms EDIT make sure the top of the pedal is against the fire wall... or add length to the top of the pedal to change the ratio

The simple way is reach down and bend the pedal arm up away from the floor...this is what I do

The simple way is reach down and bend the pedal arm up away from the floor...this is what I do So you're bending the end that the pedal attaches to or the end the cable attaches to?

I prefer to add to the top length of the pedal so I dont have a long distance of my foot.. this is just a ratio... from idle to wot measure that distance.. then on the top of the pedal arm at the hole measure that from the firewall.. that top part of the pedal has to travel the amount of the carb EDIT Or put a spacer behind the pedal to get more travel

The closer you have the cable to the centerline of the throttle shaft the quicker it works and uses the least amount of travel to get there, if the hole go's below the bracket try putting the cable mount on the bottom of the bracket.
Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.
