I think that amc won that competition a couple years ago. Seriously awsome, but scary stuff there.

I think the 67 GTX of Phil Roar, the Roar-in-hemi is my all time favorite, It took off like an airplane and landed like an airplane in 450 to 600 ft, a real crowd pleaser, ran at MCIR in Larue Ohio often!

I think the B-Bodies have more of a graceful wheelstand due to their longer wheel base, but I agree that any wheelstand is nice to see. I think the best ones are the guys who have the suspension setup for the landing so as to come down strong and lose no forward momentum instead of bouncing To all wheelies

416 stroker from Nick at Compu-flow. 11.14 in full street trim. Seems like a new best every time out.
11.06 open headers----so far!!

Wheelstand schmeelstand - I just want to see a Mopar (any Mopar) beating the Chevies and Fords to the stripe.

Maybe you can get a chance to do that if I come down to your track. Wanna see if you can take the old Chevy????

BTW, love seeing a big old B body lifting the tires up.

Your right. Phil Roar was one of the first to ease em up and ease em down. Also the black 67 of Doug Hurley before his Mountian Hemi days was the same way. Wheels up the same each and every time.
