Thanks, I'll post results and videos. We have a soft safe tune for the first outing. I'll be thrilled with anything in the 4's for now

lol, thanks. Nice ride too, I'm a huge old Mopar fan of all flavors. I've seen your posts, I think it's pretty cool your part of it from way over there. We just had an Aussie move up to Michigan with a car that is going to compete in our drag radial class with me. I haven't meet him yet but his car looks pretty bad azz. He drives a twin turbo Camaro from Melbourne, name is Niko. Drag racing must be pretty big way down there, must be a great place

Thanks, the ran great but once I plugged the MSD grid in the car would no longer run. Did the tow of shame back from the line. Never made a pass Then tore the door off the car at 2 am unloading it. Sucks!

Glad you lost weight. You'll figure out the grid. Hope it didn't hurt the door bad.

Thanks guys, the whole thing really sucks. I had probably 20 or more people show up, Crew was in on the 4th of July thing. We even mounted the flap pole for the burn out. I felt like Captain Freaking America, lol. What a disappointment. It will be making some thunderous passes soon

I believe I found our problem, MSD Grid was set on crank trigger instead of ignition timing. It was not getting a signal when we hooked up the grid. We were one literally one mouse click away from running

Well tied to make some hits Wednesday night. First try shredded a blower belt on the burn out. Second try shut down after burn out from an oil leak. Tried to race Friday on a good prepped track. With only 4 degrees of ignition timing on the launch it blew the tires off and hit the rev limiter a couple times. Hit it hard down the track and the front tires came up a bit just I watched all the teeth off the blower belt fling out through the hole in the hood. Next pass my electrical problem came back to plague me. I have to change pulley sizes so I can buy some kevlar belts. I ordered some Santhuff shocks, I hope they help plant the tires. Someday we will make a good hit

Saw you out on Wednesday...thing sounds nasty. Was going to swing by the pits, but you looked a bit busy.

I was a little frantic trying to change the belt and make a couple passes to get ready for Friday. I don’t have any quick disconnects yet. Next time please stop over and say hi, or better yet grab a wrench, lol

Well we found the electrical issue. I took apart the 32 pin connector for the MSD Grid and one of the pins (mag pick-up) was pushed mostly out of the plug. Ordered up new pulleys and a Kevlar belt. Can’t wait to give it another go

Thanks Guys, we'll keep at it. I now have a blown pro/mod guy and a blown 10.5 guy helping out now. It's just a matter of time before we get a handle on it. We are looking forward to trying to make some of the Leaf Spring heads up racing too
