OK. Frame is under way. New question. My old cage, I ran two bars from the main hoop straight back to the frame rails, as far back as possible. Then, I ran an X just on the inside of those bars, from the main hoop right above the shock crossmember. I am seeing a new trend, where the X isn't used from the main hoop. Instead, there is an X between the frame rails from the shock crossmember forward. The downbars to the frame rails tend to be angled in from as wide as possible at the hoop. Maybe attaching inline with the door bars.
Is this a stronger setup for the frame rails? I can see the X between the frame rails helping to lower the C/G slightly. I'm thinking I like the idea of the X between the frame rails. But without the X from the main hoop, does this weaken the side load strength of the cage in the event of a rollover? Maybe do both?

Your alternative design is on a leaf car or a coil spring car?

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Coil over strut front, coil over shock back. Ladder bars.
