this stuff it's a gel and cheap might need a couple three bottles. just called rust remover by dominion sure seal products. I really got a lot of rust of an block with it that had been cleaned and machined but sat 4/5 years in a real damp garage. when I was done light hone with a spread hone and i used it. :-) took a few coats in some areas.

i've been experimenting a little.Tried Evaporust 4 parts water to 1 part evaporust
on some small stuff...worked great ( 18 hrs )
maybe i'll bag the block and go 5 gal water to 1 gallon evaporust for a couple
of days and see.

You can also try an oxalic acid bath.
Rust will turn yellow and wipe off.
