My check to Tim is going out in today's snail mail, so color me there (with the new blue car).
Silly newbie question about logistics:
I am coming from out of town [stag], staying local to the track Wednesday night, and at the AirTel Thursday-Saturday nights. Therefore, I am homeless during the day Thursday. My trunk will be full of folding chair. ice chest, duffel bag, and the like. I would rather not putt around the course with all this stuff rattling around back there. Is there a place to leave my trunk junk in the pits/paddock area?
Awesome. I'm bringing my computer race scales out for participants to use for free. Maybe figure out what a Hellcat exactly corner weighs to the tenth of a pound? That almost makes me want to bring the BMW down to see exactly what it does weigh (it's pretty heavy - curb weight 3,700...).

Which car are you bringing! Blue I presume! Yes, the blue car. Actually, if you look at this year's Spring Fling flyer, the side with the entry form has two photos below it. One has some wing cars, and the other photo is of a blue car. It is that particular blue car I will be bringing. The fender emblem identifies it as sort of a Hello Kitty special edition. And thanks for the leave-the-stuff-in-the-bed-of-my-pickup offers... I will definitely do something like that.
Down to just a blue car now.

I just registered yesterday my '68 Barracuda convertible for this event. It's one of the funnest things I do with my car all year. I highly recommend it for those who can swing the dates before Spring Fling.
The combination of Track Day and Spring Fling make this the premier event for Mopar on the entire planet. Carlisle has its place, but for a complete Mopar experience in the heart of LA, this one tops them all!
Between the drive down on the often forgotten back roads of California, to wide open fun on the fastest track in the west, to cruising through Malibu via the famous Rock Shop café and the mountain roads of Malibu, to the coast side lunch experience, to the streets of Hollywood, to the Bob's Big Boy cruise in Burbank, to the best Mopar car show and swap meet this side of the Mississippi, to shaking hands with Jay Leno, and to the muscle car loving people (and beautiful women) of LA; this event never disappoints.
If you love Mopars, this is a must see extravaganza.

For those fence sitters, deadline for early registration is 03/19. (Next Saturday) After that day, fee goes up by $50. Day of event it goes up another $50. Save $100 and register now.
From alltimeracing.com Registration: This all day track event is $325. Pre-register before 3/19/15 and pay only $275. Same Day Registration add $50. So that’s $375 same day
It really is the best day of the year!!!

Thank you! It is running really well these days. I had a few gremlins that I had to find and eliminate. Now that they are eliminated, it is running better than ever. I'm still waiting for my tuner to send me a tune that bumps the rev limiter up 500 rpm to 6600 rpm, because on warm days it will hit the rev limiter right before it shifts into 2nd. Aside from that, it feels like a low 12 second ride if not a bit faster.

68HemiB, I got your check! We'll get you squared away on the twisty bits! Excellent. Now, all I need to do is figure out if I have made a grave mistake by reserving a room right in town at the Devonshire. I talked with some [Rosamond] locals at the SoCal LX show this weekend, and they painted a less-than-flattering picture. But then... they're local and never actually stay there - they only drive by.

Maybe some day I'll make it down there. But by then I might be too old to drive... Hey Tom, tell ya what, I can come up and load up your car and bring it down. The warm dry climate would be good for it. I'd even send you some video of me spanking it around the track. Sounds like fun - for you! lol
