What distributors are you guys using?

I know there is the offset one offered by Indy and if you run a Jesel belt drive you can run the belt drive distributor.

Let me know what you guys are using.

I use the jesel front drive, MSD and Mallery also make front drives that can be used with a little modification.....

Jesel front drive, set it and forget it. The MSD is a nice piece too but is really large in comparison.

Do any of you guys have a deal with Jesel? The best price I can find on the kit (Belt drive and distributor) is $2090.00.

I need the raised cam (.250") belt drive and the distributor with mount.

Hey bob this would be cool with mechanical injection. Put a hat on that sexy manifold. Cheaper and only one wire to the mag. That's why they call it nostalgia

Al and Boatracer,

Does your motor plate get in the way of mounting the belt drive distributor on the Jesel deal?

I have one offset and one front drive. Both have Jessel belt drives, pick your poison as either work well.

No.... I have a 3/8" motor plate, and the front drive dist. clears fine

We use a spacer with a 1/4" motorplate. IMO it also matters what upper pulley/thrust option you have on the Jesel. We use the double thrust deal and it requires a larger spacer to clear, then again it also requires the balancer to be trimmed a tad too. Top is before modification with that upper pulley and lower is just an idea of what it looks like.
