I've never seen a lifter layout like that,
how is the cam configured?

Nothing really special about it. Its IEEIEEI. Lifters are just angled different so they have better geometry up to the rocker. Looking at the cam it looks just like any other cam. Just a lot bigger wink

So each lifter centerline is still perpendicular to cam centerline?
Or do intake and exhaust lobes have different centerlines?
Thanks, Joe

Same centerline but these Cams are 60-70mm's. When you have something the size of your forearm you can play with the design a lot more.

Seems the Predator heads could use some relocated lifter bores

Problem is you can only go so far with the available cam cores right now..

I guess if there were more guys running them, someone would do a run of cores

Don't look like there's much room to move... the cam bearings have to be where they are(in that block)

You can do whatever you want if you step up to a tool steel billet core. But that's a $1500 cam, plus the machine work on block to move bores. To do that though, you really need to order the block blank and put the lifter bores where they need to be
