I thought he was referring to the lower control arm bushings!!

I did mean the strut rod. Sorry, it's been a little while. I went with moog rubber on both ends. Kent's pic above and a few other problems with going with poly is why I chose that.

Moog joints, PST bushings.
I wouldn't condemn a joint just because of a grease boot... I often blow them anyway within the 1st oil change or 2 after installing them. Though I do grease mine every time I change oil
