Back to the question at hand. The reason I bushed mine lifter bores was for two reasons.
1). Oil control to the top
2.) I moved the lifter angle on a raised cam block.

Changing the lifter angle made the lifter bore expose more of the oil hole than was desired so the bushing fixed everything.

Al has been nothing but great to work with as far as answering questions and helping me make my junk go faster so to nit pick at him is counter-productive in my opinion.

Thanks all for the info. Al gave me the exact info I was looking for in a pm. I have talked to a lot of people about this and from what I have learned the important part of the bushings is the ability to make the oil hole in the bushing small for oil control per say and for covering the large hole in the lifter hole where it intersects the galley so you have more contact area around the lifter. It also will help keep oil pressure in the engine if a lifter is ejected if there is valve train damage, a broken rocker or such. I appreciate everyones advice as for now I know the direction I am going to take.
Thanks Greg S.
