Samy, you are going to have to exercise some restraint. Tire smoking V8 power is addictive! Yeah, that's the part I'm most worried about. I don't think my 255/40/18 Michellin Super Sports are big or sticky enough. Lol. That's great news, are you putting it in tomorrow? Looks great! Big milestone. If by milestone you mean huge dent in my pocket book, why yes, yes it is. Lol. I just picked it up this morning at IMM in Indio and drove it down to Hotchkis in Santa Fe Springs. So, we'll see when they finish it. Everyone can bug them with me. You're telling me! Although, this engine validated why I need a truck. It is not fun driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport with 700 lbs of engine and accessories in the back.

What's the details on the engine Samy?! Very nice! Gotta love an N/A Mopar smallblock! 408 stroker built by IMM. Crank: Scat 4340 4" Rods: Scat 4340 I-beams 6.123" Pistons: Icon Forged Dish 4.030" Camshaft: Custom Hydraulic Rollers by Comp Cam Lifters: Morel Timing Set: Double Roller Oil Pump-Pickup-Pan: Milodon Road Race Pan and Pickup with Melling Pump Heads: Engine Quest/IMM Intake Valves: 2.02 Exhaust Valves: 1.60" Rocker Arms: 1.6 Chromoly Intake: Port-Matched Edelbrock LD4B Carb: Holley 850 DP Timing: 34 deg Headers: TTI shorties 523 hp @ 6000 rpm and 522 ft lbs @ 4500 rpm. Yes, I know, the intake is probably a tad on the small side.

After some laps we can connect it on the lightest setting. I see if you like it. It's just two 3/4" bolts and nuts. Were those dyno numbers done with those shorties or a set of dyno headers?

Done deal !!The real 70 Trans Am Challenger will be at the Spring Fling show and racing at Willow Springs. When will you get another chance to be on the TRACK with the real Trans Am race car? !! Bob Tarozzi that developed the Trans Am cars will be at both events too.

Were those dyno numbers done with those shorties or a set of dyno headers? It should be interesting how it will play out between an autocross setup and a road course setup. Brian uses the same headers for his dyno. He said if I went with the long-tube headers, I would probably gain about 15 hp.

Especially on Big Willow and especially for novice/first timers. You've got a lot of HP and TQ to break the tires loose. Not a lot of tight corners on Big Willow.

If you roll into the throttle to early it wont matter what swaybar hole you're in.

Wow... wish I could make it with my Challenger to Willow Springs... and to be "on track" with one of the two most ultimate Challengers in the world would be a dream come true! I've warmed up the #77 Challenger's engine at Road America a few years ago (vintage event held every July).
