I highly recomend the 727 SPECIALIST for MOPAR 727 and 904 transmissions. I have been running them since 1997!! I am also running a Griener reverse manual valve body bought through Keith. We have run a best of 9.49@139.60 in our 1970 GTX.

I have his transmission in my junk, plus just had him go through a stocker for my Volare. Very good trans guy. He's also doing his own valve bodies now.

Yes, and he's starting to add his own touches now too.

I used CRT (Cope) for years with good luck. Then I had him redo the 48 RE in my tow vehicle, and what a nightmare. Was shoddy workmanship and sent me the wrong converter twice. At first he agreed to cover the second R & R, but then pi$$ed backwards and told me he would only reimburse me for a converter. I’d look for someone else if I were you. Jim.

I really think that something has happened with Cope. I know of other problems folks have had.

I have had John do 3 transmissions for me , always a bit salty .. the last big block one I bought had couple small issues, when I asked for advice he was kind of grumpy ,
