I have an one acre lot where my youngest daughter and her husband live, plus I store our cars in the garage that is about 5 miles from the track. During the racing season I have had several nhra stockers parked there...you are welcome if you like.

they (LVMS) have a lot over by the oval that is secured and there is always 10 to 20 rigs sitting in it, go to the tower or even call out there for details on leaving it there.

Two or three years ago when they had the Spring Fling and MATS race one week apart I was able to park my car trailer at LVMS on the east side of the track in a fenced in area designed for drag racer parking, I think there may have been 10+ rigs parking there up

LVMS usually always has parking UNLESS Nascar week is involved

Joe good news you will be helping out. In the past I have done what I can to accommodate people at this race, both during it and with after hours entertainment. If I can be of any help just holler.

There are drag racing events and there are specialty drag racing events. They're all good. It's possible to race all kinds of events but for those that have to go long distances and are especially drawn to the all Mopar aspect of this race, they now have to consider the cost to go to what may appear to them as just another race somewhere. To those that live close, the decision is a bit easier. The promoters are in a tough spot. They appear to be trying everything/anything to keep things going.
I was wondering, even though it's mostly a car show, if the Mopar Nats in Ohio turned into just another all brands car show, would Mopar enthusiasts from around the country attend in the same numbers?

Is this for real? This is a risky offer. So if someone goes to the show then walks up to the ticket booth and says "I did not like the show", you will refund the price of the ticket?

From what I understand yes, check out the website www.matslv.com
common sense tells me you probably can't stay at the event if you want your money back, that is just my thought. call Phil and ask him 702-256-8254

I just looked on the MATSLV web site if you go to the facebook page it talks about the money back guarentee

Getting back to Al's "mopar crowd" comment.... there is no way in sam "L" I would offer a money back deal!! They're crazy.... they've put it out there for the world to see. Honestly.... look at the web site and see how the racing is layed out. Even in Pro class you race Mopars.... until you are the last one and then you run Brand whatever... (personally I think that aspect is stupid... but I see what they are trying to do and I'll roll with it).

This race, show, swap is one of the best on the West Coast with very decent race payouts and plenty of track time for everyone. It is held at one of the best drag facility's anywhere and is in the one of the most enjoyable city's anywhere. How the FK can you go wrong?

The most runs I have gotten at any of those MATS races on Thursday, Friday or Saturady was two runs unless I paid more to get in the pay for one additional run(jackpot or closest to your dial deal) on one of those days shruggy
I do like the race and the family, it is to bad that the family got the short end tf the deal when the goverment(politics?) bailed Mopar out after Mercedes rape them forcing Mopar to force a lot of thier good dealers to shut down work shruggy

Most local tracks are two time runs and race for your entry. I have had a minimum of 4 time runs every time I've been there. I put more than 20 runs on the car there in 2009!
