I am looking for measurements for the emblems on a 68 Road Runner trunk lid. Specifically i need the correct location for the HEMI emblem and the Plymouth and Road Runner emblems on a car without the finish panel.
My car had the trunk lid swapped.

I made some measurements on my 68 RR when this same question came up a few years ago but for just the hemi emblem. I can't get full access to the back of the car now while up on the lift but someone else should be able to get numbers for the decal and Plymouth emblem - good luck!

Beautiful 68 Bird, but I don`t think that hemi emblem is correctly placed? I have seen several birds and gtx`s and all sit higher on the upper trunk line?

Mine is an original 68 Hemi RR, so factory placement. If you have the décor package version the Hemi emblem gets placed on the passenger side on top of the panel.

A few other 68 Runners.

This is where the confusion starts. Someone dresses one up for an auction and finds a décor panel trunk lid and fills in the panel holes but leaves the Hemi emblem holes in place - then places the other emblems like a standard trunk lid...

I am aware that the hemi badge is on the drivers side without the trim package. I just recall that the badge sat a bit higher, but my memory is not what it used to be! Thanks for the correction and the pics of other 68 birds of a feather!

I had a chance to get measurements for the other side of the trunk. It is generally seen that the RR decal is centered over the "road runner" emblem. However, the height does seem to vary a little from cars that I have seen. Unless there is a factory drawing for this I would place it close to the number posted or what looks good to your eye...

Does anyone else have a measurement for the HEMI emblem? I am finding some variations in its placement. A measurement from the left edge of the trunklid to the emblem would be great.
