Stock intake valve on eagle is 2.050 Ray,having ported both eagles and apaches do you have flow numbers for both heads measured on the same bench and same bore? yes at home. on the bore size, I have tried a couple bore sizes and it didn't make any difference since the valves open towards the center. this is completely different then a wedge head. off memory my eagles are 275 @.4, 345 @.6 on my car Apaches I just finished went 312 @.4 and 360 @.6 another set of Apaches hit 320 @ .4 but will need to be tubed. I was working on them last night. I have not been able to hit the 370/380s like others have at higher lifts

320 cfm at .400" of lift? Good lord that's a lot of flow Dave Webber claims 325 @ .4 with his CNC program but his numbers stock are a bit higher in the low lift numbers than Mine, Brett's, Matt's, etc so not sure about that. I got 320 before I went to far so we will see what happens after the tube goes in. I can reshape the floor a little also. Might try to copy that thitek head picture and pull a bunch more metal from that side

Or MCH? http://www.buyracingparts.com/cnc-ported-heads/cnc-ported-mopar-heads/images/64cnc6.4flow.jpg top to bottom of the apache combustion chamber is 4.10. I use a pin to locate my sb ford, LS and Hemi head on the bore adapter. on my 4.0 bore, the valve hits and wont open. I can move it so it will open but the chamber is still bigger than 4.0. They are not Webbers numbers and I have seen a lot of really high numbers posted for all the hemi heads that I really don't know what to make of them. I port a lot of LS heads and my bench seems very comparable. A GM CNC LS3 head on my bench flows exactly what the published numbers are for that head. same goes for the rest of the LS stuff but when it comes to the GEN Hemi stuff, only comparables are stock numbers from guys on moparts.

Have you ever flowed an early 5.7 head? Also can you tell us about your 462" HEMI? i have flowed ported and non ported early 5.7 heads. without digging them out........i think i remember the early 5.7 stock flowing 270ish and ported 305ish? my 462 is a aluminum blocked motor. 4.200 crankshaft, 4.185 bore. thitek 2.20 heads, lsm cam specd by me,12.8 to 1 comp, arrington 1.7 roller rocker arms, it has a hogan sheetmetal intake on top with a 168mm tbody. it is a pump gas motor and is no kidding what i drive everyday(i dont drive far though). its in a 2006 charger and the goal is to click off some 10.0s in my 4300lb whale. on top of that it has a 300hp nitrous outlet direct port that i will get dialed in after we get the motor on point

Well thanks coming over here and sharing, I thought your build sounded like something I read about on MMF. Need as many guys over here as possible who have already "been there and done that" with these baby Hemi's.
