I pulled the dash out of the P-Body and pitched it when I built it as a race car.. never thought about the VIN tag on the dash... well now I'd like to use it on the street.. I am gonna have to talk with the local police to see if I can have one made being I have the title on it... anyone have any ideas thanks.. Happy New Year to all of ya

I work for Vehicle Fleet co. and many times we have states come out to put reconstructed vehicle VIN #'s on units or State assigned VIN#'s There should be more then just the Dash VIN pate on your ride. Check the package tray, radiator support , fire wall or frame rail if you have any factory rails left

Happy New Year to all of ya There are some stamped numbers in secret areas that correspond with either the vin or engine serial number, I know that those numbers are stamped in the trunk drip rail on the driverside under or close to where the weatherstripping is, I don't know if that is anything that will help or not.

Check the package tray, radiator support , fire wall or frame rail if you have any factory rails left I have none of that left.. if I recall there was a vin on the back hatch area on the body(under the rubber seal) I would have to look.. but I need a dash VIN for quick looks.. if I decided to build it for DW

Doesn't the title have the VIN on it? Ohio titles do, I think the issue is trying to prove that title belongs to that vehicle.
