I agree . And ALL 69 GTX's (B body converts) came out of St. Louis. I would like to know more about your car. I Own a 69 X convert too. A review, it was standard on convertibles, it was an option on steel roofed cars.

A review, it was standard on convertibles, it was an option on steel roofed cars. Also, in review, the OP has a 68 door on his 69 GTX that doesn't match his right door, ie., the door lock button position and no holes for mounting the belt line trim. In further review, these holes do not need to be spaced precisely as factory original because you can't see them but he can use the other door for a template...and I guess live with the door because it's already painted.

Yes you are correct nanket my car is the blue one. I am going over to my dads this afternoon I want look on the build sheet for the m21 code. Remember if anyone has a door with these holes I would like some measurements from the door edge by the glass to the center of the holes and hole size. I know it does not have to be factory location just need a starting point. Here is a picture of the car not quiet ready for the road but is getting there lot of parts and pieces on these things. Thanks

..... I want look on the build sheet for the m21 code. ..... ALL '69 GTX hardtops have M21 & M33, be sure to check for M31 also - only 10.6% of them have belt mouldings. ALL '69 GTX convertibles have M31 & M33, NONE have M21.

Ok looked at the build sheet and m31 does not appear to be on there. My dad says he does not care and he is putting them on he likes the way it looks. Not like it's a numbers matching car. So if anyone has an old door that they can get me hole size and location I would greatly appreciate it. So if the numbers match its better to go by the BS ? again the numbers thing being way overblown. I know others will differ but thats my take. but I would leave them off if it did not come with them, but thats just me. Guess I'm a little confused. If the OP car didn't come with M31, why does the top of the 1/4 panel in his pic have the molding piece on it?
