What transmission is in your very first pic, cause I am not seeing that one in your later pics.

Never mind, I see it now, the angle was funky or something.

MoPar....will do as soon as I get home in 1/2 hour. I mispoke in my original post... It's the passenger side bottom hole that appears to be off.

That is not a o.d. bellhousing for a 833 o.d. trans, I don't know what it is, maybe a late model bell ??

It actually is...just not a commonly used one as its late model and hydraulic clutch. Here's the info:

4471829 1 D 10-3/8", 11" Clutch, A535, A435, A833 Transmission, Except Diesel Engine 1990-91

Also...my BB 833 bell bolt holes match this one but with a smaller Center hole.

Take the input shaft bearing retainer off the trans and mate the trans to your big block bell,I bet bolt pattern will match your big block bellhousing.

I also had to look at the first pic several times to figure out the angle and what I was seeing. I would also pull the bearing retainer to see if it fits the early bell. My only guess might be that the case was slightly re-engineered with that hole slightly off.

Ok, I don't know anything about manual transmissions, I didn't realize there was an overdriven 4 speed from the factory, I thought Passon made one for that reason. Very cool, hope it works out for ya.

I wasn't making fun...Passion does make a 18 spline much stronger version with better ratios. The one I have is very weak by comparison.

I dunno about that: I know a guy that ran an 833od for years behind a 511 6 pak in a '69 Charger for years and never broke it. He never lost a race either......... twocents

FWIW the hydraulic 833od I just picked up has the slave on the Driver side, just like the linkage set-up OD's. Yours appears to be on the Passenger side?

Yep..mines passenger side. I read there is a similar bell that is s drivers side that maybe came in some of the V6 trucks?

I still say from the pic it looks like the ear was broken off welded and dressed down.Look all around the ear that pics looks like it was broken and fixed.Rocky
