I like that idea.

Before you spring for those you should have everything sitting in the engine bay and bolted up - headers, etc.. Those things are bulky and can't just arbitrarily be put anywhere you please.

I will also add that I use a double oil filter adapter with Moroso oil filters.These filters flow 16 GPM each,the Milodon pump advertises it flows 19 GPM.The Moroso filters have NO bypass so I know ALL my oil is getting filtered.
My 1st lifter failure put contamination throughout the entire oil system.After adding the Moroso filters and the pre-filters,had another lifter failure and oil system was CLEAN!

Are those gor GM application? If so none of the Chevy oil filters have built in bypasses Those type of oil filters do make all the oil go through the filter increasing the resistant to the oil pump Adding a second setup like that will reduce the oil flow resistance even more I did a dyno test years ago using many different remote filter mounts and oil filters, all the oil filters I tested where Ford and Mopar type, no measureable differences in HP or torque I found out later that if I had use the GM type oil filters with no internal bypass I woudld have seen the differnce between one filter, two filters in parelel and four filters in parelel
As far as external oil picks up I have a Lee Smith dual line swinging pick up that I want to use in my race car so I can use a shallower pan to increase oil pan to track clearances, from 7 inches deep to 6 inches deep. I've had this pickup for a long time, John Dianna gave it to me years ago saying it was much better than the Milidons swinging pickups where, I hope it works good

Those dual filter adapters take standard Mopar filters (PH8A).

after talking to my engine guy yesterday, I have decided to use the miloon single swinging pickup and the milodon pump, he also suggested using a accusump as a back-up and also as a pre-oiler for cold start up's, he told me he has used this set-up for years with out a problem on a lot of engines he has built.

There is no "single swinging pickup". To use a single line pump you plug or cap one of the holes in the dual line swinging pickup. The only "single line" pickup is the static pickup but it can't effectively be used with the 31470 pan - you would definitely uncover the pickup during hard acceleration and deceleration.

Personally, for a single line system I'd use a standard HV (Melling) pump and either of: a) Muscle Motors pump cover (least expensive alternative - quality piece) or b) the Milodon billet cover (the most expensive alternative) or c) the 440Source billet cover for the remote filter (looks like a decent piece - reasonably priced)

Won't be using the 31470 pan, it will become way to intimate with the track, going with the 30931 lo-pro that one will be about the same as my Moroso pan on my small block depth wise,,you are right on the pick-up it is the dual port block with one port capped off, item #21110 including the pump cover sandwich plate and hose
and it is listed to fit the 30931 pan.

Hmmm ... you don't want/need a swinging pickup in that pan. Besides, with only one hole you can't center it or mount it properly.

after referring back I found a descrepancy in the Jeg's catalog and on line, one listing says it will work, the other says not, looks like it may end up as a static pick-up and milodon says the pan is baffled for it, oh well I am not ready for it yet anyway.
