Bad AZZ and certainly different. It sort of follows the Rat Rod and Barn Find patina. It gives the look as though it was resurrected from out behind the Petty's old machinery sheds where they originally started their shop.My nephews Donny and Ronny George found and restored Petty's Outlaw Jr.Barracuda.They had it done at Petty's shop and he authenticated it.It's certainly a neat piece of racing history.

I would be curious to know what a wrap like that costs, thinking about doing something along that line for a project of mine. It's cheaper than paint & if they're onto it it's only a day from design to apply. I've seen a R38 Nissan arrive in the morning, have the design done on the PC & printed by noon & had the wrap applied & finished by knock off time. But this was a full on commercial shop that wraps cars & vans everyday.

To be honest I wish my Rampage had a wrap.. if I screw up any corner on it or even the paint I could have them do just that part... and it comes without and orange peel and wouldnt need any wet sanding and buffing... but I have no idea on cost

Haven't heard of anyone doing race cars yet. May not be the color scheme you want, but if you can get paid for it.... You can just peel it off after your contract expires.

Only here can this car be picked apart If someone had built a Grumpy Jenkins themed Pro Mod based on a '69 Firebird styled body, you think the Chevy guys would just let that slide? HELL NO Leave the precious hurt feelings PC crap at the door. if somethings wrong, IT'S WRONG. I still like the car, it looks great. But Petty was in a Superbird. This site makes sure we only get PC crap, I can't even tell you to [censored] off lol. In the world of pro mod what sets a Daytona apart from a superbird? Same thing that separate a camaro and firebird!

Most wraps I've seen look good from far but far from good up close. They lack the definition/clarity/sharpness of paint. I still love this car. How would they do a wrap on a one-off body like this, scan it somehow ?? It's not a one off, several of these bodies out racing. I think they do scan the first one or possibly use manufacturers specs? Good question

Yep, he was back with Plymouth in 70. But he never raced a Daytona.

It doesn't drive in circles. It's not a superbird. It's not a daytona. It's a pro mod. This isn't the resto section.
