I wouldn't worry to much about it. the performance is yet to be proven. I know what my 360-1s are capable of and will be surprised if these out perform them. and they definitely can't touch your 8s

Jegs and Summit both claim to be able to ship a Mopar small block bare block this month. I hope this means we will be seeing some Victor headed SBMs soon.

That makes two of us! Gen 3 Hemi blocks won't take the power I make. I chose the R3 route for block durability at high cylinder pressures and HP. Finally a current head with great flow potential to make that power. I have no problem jumping in first. I've dealt with more Mopar race part fitment/machining/casting issues than I care to think about. I'll give the Eddy's a shot.

Umm... how much power do you plan to make and what power adder? I assume if you are worried about G3 block integrity your doing an adder and 1600+hp?
These are an oddball head IMO, better than the stock replacement type stuff but can't hang with the 15yr old W stuff (7,8,9) Though I am anxious to see what people do with them... I don't see me beating on Eddies' door for em.

Quicktree, pure curiosity what do you think your 360's are capable of?

My street build with a small cam and the indy 230 makes 640 with the right cam I should be 670-680. With the 245cc 750 no problem so I would expect the eddies for aleast 800 or more but I dont think so.

Going to take a stout build with lots of detail and tricks to make 750 with the Indy heads . Not on a dyno but based on actual track results.
Trying to think if I have seen such a critter

69 Dart GTS A4 Silver All steel, flat factory hood, 3360race weight
418 BPE factory replacement headed stroker, 565 lift solid cam
Best so far, low 10.30’s 1/4
1.41 best 60 foot
6.56 at 104.17

Yep! Doing some extensive suspension updates on the car right now. The engine has been ready, just switching heads out. So should have it back on the dyno once the heads get back from Crower.

BTW, this car is setup to compete in SCCA CAM T, OUSCA, NASA vintage iron, and will make some mile runs as well as visit Bonneville. Won't see too much drag racing with 355's at all four corners!

I run twin 72MM turbos. I have a 422 R3. It's already seen a tad over 1500 on the dyno with the old heads that were 200cc and 25 psi. I'm really hoping to see close to 1700 HP. Trying to get this turd to 280 mph at Bonneville, and with my .CD, I'll need every bit of that to even get close.

I don't really see how they are considered odd ball. W stuff takes specific intakes, rockers, and headers. The Eddy stuff will be readily available and ready to run (for most people), using current combustion technology and airflow/airspeed modeling/testing. I see these surpassing W-stuff once they are played with. All those huge 400 CFM plus flow numbers on W stuff is at .800 plus. Those heads don't flow any better, and in some cases worse, under the curve to .600.

Would like to see them get close to my w9s. Don't think the casting can support those kind of numbers.

I bet it can be done with a max effort build one of my sets flows 336 @ 700 on the bench for what ever thats worth. I think 700 is easy. I have seen well over 600 with (at the track)a set of indybrocks with a fairly mild roller set up.
