awesome ride. I am also having a 71 done, but mine is only to nice driver caliber and mine will be a clone. my car had a similar gold on it when I got it. It was a repaint from the eighties so I am not even sure it was a mopar color. Good luck with yours it looks great.

Rear Glass and trim installed.

The only advice I have is make sure its sealed good. The first time we sealed it with the kit we found a gap on the drivers side center of the window, we could run a piece of paper through it. We ran additional sealant around the entire window. The Chrome is the orginal chrome we had repolished. The window was supplied by AMD and the chrome clips are aftermarket.

Car looks fantastic I had a 71 R/T that was that color gold and was an A78 formal roof package car. In the closeup of the suspension I hope you dont forget to tighten the lower starter nut
Thanks, Good eye. Actually the starter has to come back out for the inspection cover to go on.

Having a problem with the left Goodmark inner fender apron. The shelf where the battery tray sits is not flat, when you tighten the tray in place, its 1/2" higher on the inside. Its to bad that this was not noticed before paint. You can't really see it until you install the battery. If we level the tray the battery hits the hood, not sure the best way to fix this. . Heads up to anybody else installing Goodmark inner aprons. Not sure if the AMD have the same problem.
would it help to move those ,what look like bolt clips to the outside of the inner fender. Looks to me like they are gonna cause the tray to set higher on that side. just a thought.

It's been a while since I've checked in with your progress. It's really coming along nicely. That's a shame about the battery tray, hopefully you were able to come up with a good solution. Your attention to detail is really great and shows in the work you are doing. Just curious, did you have your gas tank in or out when you were installing the engine/trans? I had mine out when I did my car but can't recall if I will have clearance between the gas tank and floor when the front of the car is lifted.

Have you figured out what to do with the battery tray yet? I looked at mine and it looks to be the same way. I havn't put a battery on it to check though.
Right now we're leaning towards adding a 1/2" to the battery tray bracket and oblonging the tray bolt hole where it secures to the rad support. This will lift the battery a 1/2". It will clear the hood and be level. This is the easiest solution right now without doing major work. Were holding off doing this and working on other things, just in case we come across a better solution. This can be the last thing we do anyways.
