I just found out that Saturn Surplus has sold their complete line of M880 parts to AMS Obsolete.
AMS Obsolete is the new name for Mitchells Auto Parts. They sell under the name fmmpr on eBay. The parts will be for sale, but the prices will most likely be out of the world.
It was nice to be able to order an obscure 70's truck part and not pay through the nose. My guess is now everything will be gold plated pricing, and listed as LRE

C'mon man don't sugar coat it! Tell us how you really feel! LOL Many of us feel the same way, I'm a little surprised he's managed to stay in business all these years. I refuse to buy from Mitchell or his affiliates I'll stick to swap meets,Ebay sellers other places on the web
If that NOS stepside tailgate was the last one earth & I needed it for a show truck I'd build one using a refrigerator door

I was going to say....I seem to remember that name as not being in such good standing around here. I didn't realize that he was dead, though.

My one experience with buying from Mitchell parts was back in the late 1980's. I bought a set of NOS Hemi spark plug wires. I installed them and the thing has several cylinders that weren't getting any spark. There were several bad plug wires in the set. When I Stopped by their store (during the Mopar Nats) I was told " These plug wires are for restoration purposes for appearance only. They're not for cars that run and get driven. No refunds or exchanges." The fact that they were sold to me as working plug wires meant nothing to them Needless to say I never bought from Mitchell Motor Parts again.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

DRMO at JBLM (FT Lewis) still has a few M880s laying around. The M880 series was the precursor to the HUMMV. Back in the early 80s Ft Lewis had the largest population of the M880 series vehicle. There were numerous versions. Of course they were all 24V.
