Everyone has horror stories. If I had only been dealing in auto/truck parts for a few months I would have none. Let the buyer beware- I have dealt with lots of people and most have been good to deal with.should I air the dirty laundry on the Internet.NO! You guys seem to think that trying to make a man look bad makes you look better? Good luck with that! And as for the plug wires- I was around when these were new and lived close to a Chrysler dealer warranty parts were everywhere! You are trying to imply they knew they were no good. NOS is the abbreviation for new old stock. I bought an NOS steel crank for a 340, guess what- it had to be turned. I have no ties to Frank as I have none with any of you! But I guarantee you will not see me on here backstabbing anyone even if you blatantly stiffed me. It's easy to cry wolf on here and ruin someone's reputation. Whatever that may be.

The members here are very good about warning each other when they run into a seller that is iffy. That is what keeps people from getting ripped off over and over by the same bad venders. That's not back stabbing. tsk

So I guess it's acceptable in your eyes for a "business" to sell bad non working parts as new good working parts and then not stand behind them in your eyes?

The plug wires were sold as new working plug wires, not simply a decoration that fit on a car.
They could have exchanged them for another set, but chose not to do that.
There was no fixing them, the wire cores were bad.
Back then $125 for a set of plug wires was a lot of money, you expect them to work.
If you're selling a decoration, state it up front, don't claim that they are functional working parts to make the sale then change your story when the customer calls you out on bad parts.

No one is supposed to talk about vendors that screw over their own customers?

You're hilarious. laugh2 laugh2 laugh2 laugh2 laugh2 laugh2

It has nothing to do with anyone trying to make themselves look better, it's about letting other people know who they can safely trust when doing business.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

Then you never knew Frank unlike lots of us who have been into Mopars out entire lives, thanks for the rant but facts are facts and who are you to dispute them since you never knew the man? tsk

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

It is only fair for people to let others know of their bad dealings but sometimes people have personal agendas and can murky the water some.

I bought a dash pad for a Challenger from him & paid $1k for it
It had been repaired the Dr Vinyl way & had cracked back out during shipping
That pad was NOS for sure, but was damaged NOS
I didn't understand why it took a month for him to ship it until I saw the repair
I called to get "Oh well" stuff happens

Serano, I guess what you're trying to say is that when someone who does these types of deals like Frank did, that everyone is supposed to stand by & let it happen to others

I dealt with him once on ebay. This was before paypal so I sent him the payment how we agreed upon and when he received it he said it won't do and wanted it another way. I pointed out that we already made arrangements and before I could even respond I've got negative feedback and he reported me to ebay as a non paying buyer. So I turned around and reported him as a non selling seller. During the non paying arbitration process he lied repeatedly and even denied ever getting payment at all and ebay did something to my account and threatened to close it completely. I ended up forwarding every bit of communication with him to ebay and in less then a day they put everything back to normal and removed his negative feedback and dumped the whole mess on him. This was all over a $10 or $15, no way would I have trusted him with a bigger deal or anything at all for that matter after that.
