Congrats on the sale, good to know race car's do actually sell once and a while. You definitely always worked hard at ironing out your combo's any they have always had a killer short time. Best of luck in your retirement.

Best of luck with your retirement, Jim. The guy that bought your car got his moneys worth, I am sure.

Wow. Truly the end of a era to me. I have been following your car, test reports, and race updates for years.

Thanks for all of the great test data Jim and best of luck on your retirement/relocation.

Congrats on the sale. They are only cars and IMO they should always have a price. I sold my Cuda in a similar fashion, was not for sale but we found a number that worked and off it went.

Best of luck with retirement and relocation. Lots of places in the big beautiful country to go that are much more tax and weather friendly. Texas comes to mind smile

Jim, look into Johnson City, TN. My older brother retired there, and he likes it a lot. Beautiful mountains, low cost of living, and Bristol Dragstrip (Thunder Valley) is 30 minutes away.

Keefe,
I will be at the Mopar Classic race/show at MIR (MDIR) this weekend. Perhaps with the 1973 440 Cuda or maybe the 2009 Challenger with the 5.7 Hemi.
The long range weather forecast is 61F and clear skies to put some sun on the track. Should be a fast day with track elevation around 80 ft.

Congrats on your retirement. The fella that bought your Dart certainly got a nice ride out of the deal. I always enjoyed your posts about the Dart. Enjoy being retired!
Best wishes
Donny

Great Jim, I'll see you there. I'm going to take a few passes in my truck.

I followed your car and the changes over the years. You always did a great job at sharing tech info, and in setting the bar pretty high.

Great car, guessing your next one will be just as nice.....
