You should have a lot of people looking at your tail lights when you get those 8 barrels open.

We run oil drain back lines at the rear of our heads (#10 lines), back into oil pan.

You probably already posted this but, are you running an Indy Max block? That's the only reason I would think you would need drainback lines.

KB block,

Keeping any excessive oil from going on to the rotating assembly is free HP, plus oil is back to pan a little faster instead of being sprayed around.

Had everything to do it but ran out of time.

After running it without, the KB block and heads seems to be draining back just fine.
