It was a felpro Perma torque don't remember the number off the top of my head

That's what I had to put back on it

Part throttle detonation is usually not the "destroyer" and can often be handled by altering the timing curve a little. If you are running a vacuum advance unit, buying an adjustable unit can also cure part throttle advance. Fattening the carb in the mid range can also fix it. Although you could address it with an adjustable water system, that is not what you want to do. Part throttle usually means cruise and you would need a LARGE water reservoir to be using it at cruise/part throttle. Water injection systems are ment to be used at WOT. The biggest problem with detonation is that mean sounding ( reads loud) exhaust system you have - you often don't hear it ( detonation ) until this.
