The whole crew laid down passes today. The 300 still has a big scab but ran well. There is a light green Demon here that's gorgeous. Have never seen that car before.

That is Paul Cornman in the Demon. He won the Street Race Small Block Naturally Aspirated class last year, this year he is faster and 5th place last I checked. It has an Indy headed small block that Shady Dell did work on.

My car ran slower today, I thought it was the air but I backed up on the qualifying list for my class. Currently sitting 28th out of 32. It ate 2 pushrods and adjusters on the road to Wisconsin, we changed them and then changed the oil as soon as we could.

I might actually have to tune on this thing tomorrow to stay in the quick 32.

I followed a Hellcat Challenger out of the track today, apparently the angry grill of a 70 Fury is enough to make a cat run scared smile

I think I won because in about a dozen blasts off stop signs he never completely ran away from me....he was probably barely coming off idle :P

We wounded Charley's gold challenger today, pushed both head gaskets 2.5 miles from the track. One of the track workers lived just down the street from there. We limped it to his place and commenced to tare into it. 5 hours later we were back at cruising speed.

Wife and I went to Corodova, met the family. Great bunch really enjoyed talking to them.

He was so busy, he didn't see the pretty girl standing next to him

Pretty sure I saw all the cars at Cordova. The trip back to St.Louis wasn't too bad, just plenty of miles. Hope they all make the last stretch. Great people and a lot of fun to watch.

Billy will tell the story eventually but the gremlin ran best all week I think after the repair and the valiant was going down the track as they took the tree down ahead of the storm

Bracket race has not started yet. Heard Rachel broke a drive shaft but can't say 100 percent.

Billy seemed to have the car leaving significantly harder again today but the 2 runs I saw were shy of the runs at Indy.

The Gremlin bent a valve again, but they are thrashing to get I fixed. The entire Gebhart family has been a blast to watch, root for and talk to. Billy it has been a true honor to see and meet you guys. How your family can go the entire week smiling and laughing, just makes this week that much better.

they are a spectacular bunch Jeff.... I first met Billy via the board here. We used to have a fun race series called the Mopar Shootout Southwest which was held in Phoenix and sometimes Tucson. One year at the Tucson race his mom, dad, a couple of his brothers showed up. Deep fried turkey, and we all brought a bunch of food. Great bunch of people.
