On my pump gas engine I have Ross flat tops and the .084 Cometic gasket, compression is 10.3 to 1. This worked well for me since the block had been decked quite a lot and now the intake fits well with the standard intake gaskets. If your intake does not fit well when you change the head gasket, do a search and use a THICKER intake gasket. Sorry, I changed that, since you are adding to the deck height.
