justinp61 I Live Here Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 11,686 W. Kentucky	Don't know if it's true but I was told my R1, 9.58" block weighed about what a factory 400 B block weighed. I do know there is a bunch more iron in it than a production block.

KOS pro stock K Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 1,578	i had my tall deck r3 lightened and it was 90lbs heavier than stock block.i went from a 360 block with a tall fill and iron w2s to a r3 block non siamese indy alum head and car was still 50lbs heavier.so safe to say 75-100lbs diff for sure.
