That white charger looks like it's about to do a barrel roll like an old F-4 jet fighter!

Sorry brother.......but that ain't the track making that car roll over like that. Looks like it could stand some more tubing and an anti-roll.

I will ask fastmop's question again. Whats the blower car run for ETs.

Wow.....look at the stands.......and the crowd goes wild......LOL!!!

I was commenting about that with Geoff (owner of Gerko Enterprises) on Sunday morning as we watched a few passes. They need to figure out a way to change the racing program to be more in alignment with the rest of the show. It's kinda sad for all the drag racing finals to be held going into Sunday in front of empty grandstands because the rest of the show go-ers and participants had left to make the drive home.

It'd be cool to maybe start the racing on Thursday before the crowd arrives--do all the time trials that day, have the finals be on Saturday night, leaving Sunday to pack up, clean up and drive home like the rest of the show participants.

actually Monte thats the first time I seen the car do that, I was in the water box twice behind him in the left lane and it never did that.

To answer a few of the questions,

The white 64 Plymouth belongs to Joe Mizia,
The white Charger belongs to Dave Ross(Pappy)and has a Holt built chassis and Best Machine engine and runs in the 8s.As far as the chassis roll,it was caused by the track, after finding the groove all his passes were straight.

Donny Martiks blower car runs mid 4s at 155 mph in the 1/8 on a mild tune. The track at National Trails was minimal at best and he ran 4.69 which was good enough for number one qualifier. In eliminations he dialed 4.71 the same as the quickest dragster. After a few adjustments on the shocks, the car hooked the best it did but Donny ran a 4.66,scrubbing 10 mph from his previous run.The dial can be seen on the window. We are still in a learning curve with the entire combo. We hope to make better passes at Norwalk which is one of the best hooking tracks around. Many of Donny's runs can be seen on YouTube. At Quaker City Don ran a 4.40 and at Norwalk he ran 163 mph.We hope to improve but like any blower car getting it to hook and go down the track is a good run.
