Are you asking about the CSR carbon-fiber trans shields? Not sure exactly what you mean by "data"...
These shields are often called carbon fiber but they are actually Kevlar with what appears to be an epoxy or Gel coat covering the Kevlar. I spoke to the manufacturer and he told me that they do extensive testing to certify to the SFI spec. Still I hope I never have to personally find out if they will hold an exploding 727.

Like weight, thickness, cost. And if the SFI cert does expire....and if it can be re-certed and the cost of same.
Are there any published tests ? ... can you explain what you mean by "extensive testing" ? ....
THANKS

They are to be used in stock bodied floor cars, If used in a tube chassis car (aluminum floor) you NEED to have a after market aluminum drum or steel billet drum. They changed from CSI to CSR for a reason. I have one in each of my two drag cars and I have seen them do there job more than once by others when applied correctly. Cert expires every 5 years, I just had 2 of them recertified.

Good luck getting it to fit in a stock floor. I can tell you with 100% certainty it will not fit a stock a-body floor without modifications.

not much of a mod really. what, 1 minute with a rubber mullet to massage over the firewall pinch weld? doesn't have to look pretty, the shield hides your handywork.

the shield is a nice piece ,I have the super shield on my 65 Coronet it fit perfect other than the front trans line . Also you have to remove the casting ears from the trans case. If you purchase one make absolutely sure you do not trim or modify any part of it. I trimmed mine about 1/4 inch to clear the front cooler line and now they will not certify it. The certification is good for 5 years, it cost $25 per sticker which it has two also you have buy new bolts when getting recert.total cost minus shipping is about$75 it's a ripoff having to do this , but the establishments say so , so you play the game. Now that I vented my frustrations about CSR .I wouldn't run without some kind of protection. It is a nice piece but could be better ,it weighs in at 4lbs about 1/4 inch thick and cost about $400

My SB 727/CSR fits my Barracuda without modifications.(to the car)
Scratch that.
I forgot........mine was originally a Formula S/4-speed so, the floor where the shifter was, must not be as tight as a factory automatic.

I have heard some techs fail the CSR shields if they have stickers on them.
isn't the SFI std printed on a sticker & stuck to the side of them? it is on my shield, i made the tech inspecter get on his hands & knees to read the sfi #.
