My 04 Dak 3.7 with 46re trans I think that's the model 2 WD ??? Does that com from the converter or trans . I've heard both..Me Not a trans guy..Chatter 35 -45 mph then gone..

Should have a 42RLE trans. Yes sounds like TQ chatter at that mph. Try this find a open road and drive steady at the mph this happens. Tap the brake pedal with your left foot and see if every time you let up the chatter happens. Signal from stop lite switch disengages the converter.

There is a flash for a similar problem you might want to look in to.Try googling tsb 18-001-15 and see if this would help. There are some additives that you could use also help.

Thanks Salem..I'll try that Google..you are right it's 42 RLE., I tried the Lucas stuff .. no help ..
