Hang tight Dom, I will be ready to have the car out in August! Hope you are enjoying yourself! Thanks again for everything, Mike

Alright, alright already. It's only been 4-5 months since I received my Thumped 4150 carb and finally fired up today here in the Motor city. Work and urgencies in the Family have kept me and the car at bay.
What better place to street tune and test then on Woodward Ave itself during the world's most famous Cruise event.

Well, All I can say is that this thing is now REAL world snappy and idles super sharp. Pulls like a grunt and pulls stumps.
I'll know real numbers once I get it to the track being that the street won't give me the exact numbers, but so far feels like a rabbit out of the hat with its tail on fire.
Thank you much Thumper.
I'll spread the word in Zoo York once I return there.

Spark plug update......
Same plug as above. Plenty of idle time and street cruising.
All of them would have been dead ducks by now had I not chosen to send my carb to Thumper.

I still have not adjusted anything on this carb....

Yes Cab I am running a pair of 915's

I was thinking they look a bit to hot (?) Auotlite AR-73's are about as cold a plug as they offer.
May it be from mixing 110 race fuel with 93 pump? I'm going to pull all the plugs this weekend for a look-see scope

Greg, you really need to install a wide band to at least give ya an idea about what direction to go cos for all ya know it could be lean up top. thumbs Also, I`d throw some NGK # 8`s in and see how they look...........
