BTW, anyone ever seen a full tube chassis 71-72 RR? I would consider replacing the Challenger if I found one already done. A friend of mine has a old 72' RR funny car body that has been cut up into 5 pieces.  I have seen a few 71-72 funny cars out there but just haven't, seen the rr chassis cars, at least out here on the west coast. Please post picks if you have them! Keith

The designer also said that Chrysler received a lot of complaints about the 71 tail lights being hard to see, since they were set low in the bumper and actually angled towards the ground. It was the main reason for moving them up and making them more prominent on the 72s.

1096 RR/GTX cars built in 72 with N96..No Satellite's were avail with this option.. 
1972 Road Runner / GTX 440 4spd Dana 3.54 Just about to turn 26K original miles..
A boat, a GMC truck, some Craftsman Tools, LOTS of Zombie Protection, and a few Goldfish..
If you love someone set them free..
If they come back it means nobody else wanted them either..!!

Nope, but interesting fact ....you could get the V21 V25 stripes on any 2 door Satellite in 1972!
V21 V25 are the hood and deck stripes found on N96 cars for 1972.
