I called Caltrack and they said to put 1/4 turn pre load in both sides but is this enough?

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

The Rancho was about 1/2" away from axle tube and there is no bind when I cycle it so it is still good but now I have the new ones on.The brake pads do slide out the top but to take the rotor off a hose may help on stress on the tube. Thanks Dave for pointing that out tho.

The damage on the tube is 7 1/2" from the lower shock eyelet and the o/c to the axle/eyelet is about 5 1/2" at rest. The shock is at a 45* so ^ makes sense.I am rambling I know.:)
