I wouldn't replicate the Honker, but a business coupe lends itself to the gasser style. The short roof and long deck, kind of like a chubby Willys!

The 55 or 56 would have the right gasser look. 57 dodge might not be bad either if you can find one.

Is this he correct rear window? Looks the same, $100 buy it now. Shipping could be an issue.

My neighbor also has a 39 Plymouth 2-door sedan he wants $1500 for. It's got a Camaro subframe under it, but definitely a project.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

There is one of these laying close by ..

It is rough as a cob though , and its a ugly duckling ..

Think I could make one look good ( the one local is a style side and is a short box )

This is just one I seen on the auction site

What year is that? Kind of ugly but not that bad!
It's somewhat like a mid 50's Ford!?

Its a 58

I think I could make it look cool, I heard the same thing when I started on my other truck

"Those are ugly" -- "farm truck" were just two of the comments I got all the time , well now everyone likes them

I actually like these but feel the cabs could do with a bit of a section. The problem I see with that though is the body line and headlight areas. It wouldnt be a simple process to get a good 4"-6" section outta the middle of it.

Otherwise I like this front end even better than the earlier 48 to 55ish nose. I think there is more style here. Plus I think one of these could easily accept a 61 Chrysler grille and headlight treatment.

That's what I was thinking, the front end is different, not terrible. It just needs the classic hot rod treatment, find a grill that does it justice and it would be cool. Throw in a small Hemi, not necessarily a 354/392 but an old Desoto Hemi and it would really be cool and not another belly button

Straight front axle, big pie crusts in back,
motor sticking out somehow....

If your looking for a wagon like this, I know where there was one over in the Tulsa, OK area it would be a little closer to you BigDad. Pm Me and I can check to see if it is still there. It was solid and pretty complete and a two door as I recall.
