I have a World hemi block, not together yet, but it didn't need anything special during machining other than replacing the main studs. Other than that, it was/is a nice piece.
Honestly, I don't care if the new ones are made in China. Obviously I'd prefer it not be, but whatever. Just another block being available to purchase is a good thing. They all need to be checked out and machined anyway. That made in China part won't bother me near as much as the made in North America price it will no doubt have... Kevin

Glad someone here found the stud thing before it got too far. Damon

Which version, hemi or wedge? Iron or aluminum? I called my phone number listing for World, Bill Mitchell products number last week to get the torque specs on my World cast iron block and they told me that BMP was not part of the World family any more(insert baffled look emotioncon here)Let us know what you find out please.Thanks, Cab OMG cab cannot use the emotioncons!!!!
