Lets make this thread interesting. In the Cash Days episode they figured there were only 5 cars around that could actually beat them. Soooo...Anyone know who they are? Back when this car was a little tamer (7's) he drove and raced it on the street in Hamilton Not sure if it even exists anymore though

It's funny. I posted this as a spoof. It looks to me that The 405 gang are very good at getting very quick cars to hook on sub par surfaces. 184 in the 1/8 is only a dream for most of us. Hell 184 is a dream in the 1/4. To me the 275 class is far more interesting than any NHRA pro class. Doug
Just to bring a little perspective in here. Our nitrous drag radial car, has been 179 and change on our BEST pass. On that pass we went 4.16. Shawn's Nova just went 185. Get the front half figured out just a little bit and that car is an EASY 4.30 player at the track and obviously has the power to be quicker.

All the "haters" need to line their sh&t boxes up and show these boys how it's done, since it seems they are slow and make no real power.
As for Lutz' car, yes that was the OLD car, but still, that one has been 6.90s at 218 in street trim, so it's no dog by far. Power is EASY to make and sure easy to buy, such as a BAE. Getting it down a public street is another thing altogether.
Mike Murillo is one of the most successful racers out there and that Mustang of his makes some REAL steam. Has been 6.30s at 220+ on 33x10.5s. Even with the BIG tires on it, he struggled to harness the power and failed to make a "clean" pass in the Cash Days deal. It just ain't as easy as some seem to think.

If it were cheap and easy anyone could do it. In my eyes it takes 3 things. Money, talent, desire. You need all three and then you will have a chance, and only a chance. Doug
