Does anyone know at what point after the car was assembled that window sticker was affixed to car?

We talking 1969-1975? When car was coming down Trim Final, they would be affixed to the window. So just after emblems applied/installed.

So the date at the bottom of the window sticker would be the date it rolled off the assembly line?

The window sticker for my one owner 1969 model car with SPD 11/8/68 shows the SPD B08 preceding the "S.O. Number" (sales order number?) at the top. The un-labeled 'date', if that's what it is, at the bottom is 1031 (10/31/68?).

My wheels are date coded 11/12/68, the newest date code I could find on the car, which indicates it actually came off the line after 11/12/68. So the 'date' at the bottom of my window sticker is not closely related to the SPD nor the actual date it came off the line.

Hamtramck. I know for a fact that my car arrived in Houston on 11/27/68, so my WAG is it came off the line about a week or so before that.

Take this 71 Cuda window sticker, does anyone know the meaning of the 930 date code under the destination charge? The car has a 9/70 door sticker 9/17/70 consumer info sheet and a 1002 date on the window sticker so did it roll off the assembly line in Sep. or Oct.?

Just a guess on my behalf......but this date may be the effective date for the shipping charge noted above. I would expect shipping charges changed at times throughout the year based on carrier fees not remaining constant.

Well if the letter after the date is the plant code and the 2 digit number is a routing code, could it be the date its scheduled to be loaded up to be transported to the dealer I always assumed that car was produced early

The color of the car, as listed on the WS.

Edit: nevermind. I just viewed on a bigger screen and see FJ6.

September - It's been said the door decal is placed on the vehicle shortly before it is considered "JOB COMPLETE".

1971 model year Hamtramck "1B"

9 - 70 - door decal
09/17 THURSDAY (9/17/70) - consumer information sheet
09/23 WEDNESDAY (923) - "scheduled production date"
09/30 WEDNESDAY (930) - date following DESTINATION CHARGE WHAT DOES THIS DATE REPRESENT?
10/02 FRIDAY (1002) - date on bottom of window sticker WHAT DOES THIS DATE REPRESENT?

B28 - routing code

Any chance you could get the K-frame date for this 'Cuda?

I am not certain the 1002 and B28 are dates of any sort. See the attached window sticker for my March 70 built Road Runner. numbers at bottom of my sheet are 1007 B34.

Help me out on this observation.....this sticker has been with the car since I purchased it in 1981. I would like more information if possible.
