Patrick and I started on the tubular A-arms this morning. Project went real well, car is back on all 4. Only thing that is not the way I think it should be is the rack location. I feel it is too far forward. We will be doing the final locating of the engine next time, and hopefully it will move up enough that we can move the rack back a couple inches. All in all, the front end went well for not having a drawing or blueprint to work off of. Yes, I looked at a car at High Speed in Mokena and told Patrick what I wanted from memory. Left side arm:

Many thanks to Patrick and all the work he's done for me on the car. Thanks too to Bondobob. The sleeves worked perfectly.

Finally had some time to do a little work on the car today. Patrick has been pretty busy with work and is also going to school to finish his Masters in engineering. I took time out to buy a house and move. Raised the steering column up some so it is easier to get in and out of the car. Seat is located, just have to do the final mounting. Tacked in the gas pedal and test fitted the trans tunnel. Next step is the foot box and firewall. Then the car will come home so I can rewire and plumb it.
