Stroker! You can't see it You can't hear it You CAN feel it! The bigger question is; why WOULDN'T you stroke a street engine? Walk softly (look stock) and carry a big stick (crank)

The cool thing about a stroker is the added torque of course and you cant tell its stroked from the outside of the eng. Ron

that's funny, but that is exactly what these two brothers said back in the late 70's - early 80's where i grew up in denver. tony richards and his brother were building strokers long before there were kits for them. i don't know if they just used off ground cranks, but they were building 511's as early as 78-79, somewhere in there. wicked engines, for the day.

Wasn't a build just done in one of the mopar rags where they achieved 675HP from a 451ci build..?? With over 600 ft lbs of tq..Id be real curious of the street/strip reliability or was it just a build for dyno number junkies...
1972 Road Runner / GTX 440 4spd Dana 3.54 Just about to turn 26K original miles..
A boat, a GMC truck, some Craftsman Tools, LOTS of Zombie Protection, and a few Goldfish..
If you love someone set them free.. If they come back it means nobody else wanted them either..!!
