Does anyone know the application of this chrome rectangular handle (I don't believe it is Mopar), it is similar to a 64-65 'b' body console handle but maybe 1 1/2" less offset at the base, but it is rectangular (square) all the way up to the threads, it is a bolt on handle and has the fine outline Hurst script just like the 64-65 'b' console handles 3/8-24 threads.

If I was going to guess I'd say it looks like the shifter for a 66-69 console B body (of course there is a factory one for the 69 B body that is different)

It is for sure not a 64-65 console as I had a factory handle at the same time as I had this one and for sure not 68 or 69 as they were round and 66-67 were inland, 70 and up pistol grip. I would say not a Mopar handle, just trying to identify it as I have 2 of them and would like to sell them, just want to give a positive description as to what they are for. (possibly 'C' body console 64-65 ??) I would have to say that most replacement handles go rectangular to round when they approach the threads.

Kind of looks like this one

http://www.brewersperformance.com/proddetail.asp?prod=SH6836

Since it doesn't have the right offset and you don't know the brand, my next guess would be that its for a GM A body with console

66-early 68 was an inland shifter , and it's not a 68-69 console , or non console B body shifter.

Yeah I meant the aftermarket one's Hurst sells for them, it's pretty much the 64/65 factory shifter.

Matt, that e-bay handle goes to round where it transitions into the threads, the handles I have stay very square cornered all the way up to the threads just like any original 64-65 console or non console handle.

Sure looks like a 64/65 B non-console handle to me.

#2781 is a factory 64-5 C-body console shifter, B-body has more offset.
