Check out the MRL lifters, I really like the tie bar design, I'm getting another set for my 414 because I'm not happy with the Morels
Love my MRL offset lifters; 8100rpm with zero issues

I havent run offset lifters but I wouldnt mind using them on my W-5s so I can get a larger diameter PR into it... I need to have PR oiling due to using the TD multi short shaft rockers. plus I want the EDM hole for the wheel... right now this is the way I'm doing it with my W-2s on the 416 but I want to put the W-5s back on now that they are fixed... I'm not running a lot of spring pressure with 260# on seat(roller cam) and about 650# open.. this is on my street rod... I've never had a issue with the tie bars on the 59* stuff but I did break a tie bar on my 48* engine.. that was on its first pass.. that tie bar could have been defective, I dont know.. but that cost me $3500 to correct

Any other members ever run offset lifters? I read some posts about some not having luck with them. They were running massive spring pressure and maybe not a good enough tie bar for the lifters?
Yes, I had a set of comps that broke on me, went back to centers only but then MRL garaunteed me his offsets wouldn't break. He was right, now I have a 3/8" exhaust pushrod but still only a 5/16" pushrod. But with the offsets I can fit a 11/32" pushrod on the intake side now.

I think the Magnum block is better than people give it credit for. It is not a race block but certainly stronger than an LA block and easy to go roller cam to boot.

Been preaching the magnum gospel for years brother glad to see we are converting new believers

Inside of mine.
We used the offset cup MRL lifters which helped straighten-out the intake pushrod angle quite a bit.
What rockers are those Bobby? And how is the converter working in the rocky?
Wish Mike at MRL would have mentioned the offset lifters to me, or atleast that they were coming. Told him my entire setup (Indy 360-2's) and he sold me the regular lifters, then literally like 2 weeks later I see a post of his about the offset lifters ready for sale....ah well. Pushrod angle on the intakes definitely looks better

Isn't the offset just in the cup or is the whole lifter different.

I believe just in the cup...But it would have helped in pushrod selection and straightening out the angle. Every little bit helps

I would think that there is some sort of keyway or something to keep the cup from turning... they wouldnt care on the centered ones.. so there might be some difference in the lifter body...
