can anyone point me in the direction of a vendor who makes or sells the Hemi engine lift brackets that were usually removed during dealer prep?

MOST cars had them removed after installation but occasionally a car got through with them still attached (the couple I've seen were on 66 cars). I have some originals (Hemi and small block versions) that I use when painting a highly detailed engines to get all the small details right (the small areas they cover when the engine is painted should be bare iron with no paint, etc.) but I would remove them afterwards and not leave them on the engine.

Here's one on a small block that got left on from the factory. I believe this one was on a late 1971 340 engine that Dave Wise found.

And here is the aftermath from the installation, removal, and replacement of the bolt that held the bracket. Chipped paint on the bolt and some bare areas showing where the bracket masked some small areas of bare metal.

1966 Hemi

Engine lifting brackets used at Trenton Engines Plant for big block engines can typically be found on marine engines. The factory never removed them from those engines.
