Glassteks i guess is made of fiberglass?
I dont want that since i know it doesnt stay in shape.
And i dont have any steel brackets at all. If i did i would have them acid dipped.
So i guess really want alu brackets.
I know ive read about someone making them.
I will ask over at fabo.

Member fullmetaljacket made some for a 71 Duster I had many moons ago, looked similar to the originals but in aluminum.

I did half and half. Steel half I went after with a hole saw, the other half is fiberglass. I'm not a big fan of the bumper jiggle.

Wish I had the time to make 'em again, but works gets in the way as well as my own heavy B-body. LOL..
There is a guy I believe that loiters on here or is indeed a member that makes them exceptionally like I use to.
They seem to be reasonably priced as well being that they take a fair amount of days to make unless you have a jig made up already. They look just like stock for the most part. Check on here or jot down aluminum brackets and see what pops up.
Mine were a labor of love and only a few dozen pairs were ever made. Took off a fair amount of weight right from the front end.

Working on the 67 -69 barracuda front and rears, 73 -76 duster and dart front and rears. More to come. I emailed to water jet guy sunday. hope to hear from him this week with a final sample. if this picture works, here is what they look like on my duster, the 67-69 dart will look similar.

They will sell for $75 pair. I also have aluminum carriage bolts, nuts flats and locks and aluminum tube fender rods. The 3/8 carriage bolts are $2 a unit. The fender rods are $15 pr. Thanks

bought my brackets from Jeff and mated them to my Unlimited Products fiberglass bumper. i was pleased with the fit and for a race car, felt they were robust enough.

I have something similar to that in the works just not finalized. In the mean time I made them like the duster brackets.
