318 Demon no real loss, Buy a hell cat , because I can, alter a org 440 truck with a crate motor, poss 1of 10 produced, complete IDIOT. Thats when I lost Dericks email when he did that.. Idiot...hey to each their own. Yeah I am the one whom own it..thats another reason I dont want to keep up with past vehicles, I have sold.. is this your first truck of this sort, if yes that would explain alot. A REAL truck guy would cherish it, as Dynotune, Aventurer 4x4 roundup to name a few...I figure in a couple years the paint will be faded, starting of rust...seriously thinking of keeping my 76 440 truck so that people like you dont alter it, getting harder and harder to find them..just my 2 on By the way how did the Hell Cat get in this?

I agree, no big deal on the engine swap since he kept the original motor. To slag the current owner and predict it'll be sitting under a tree covered in sap in no time is a little dramatic. If the previous owner feels so strong buy it back or don't sell next time
Don't care about the current owner, the previous owner before him was the moron, and yes I told him so, he bought it, it is his now. He wanted it because of its rarity, great thought it was going to a good home, now I know better.. This is why the white 76 D-100 440 is now not for sale... I don't see the russet one going back, not my problem anymore.. PJ pm me your #...

Hi Ric I have been a craftsman and enjoy good craftsmanship when I see it. This is why I purchased this package, stroker installed, and I can always change it back to a 440, which is why I originally joined this forum....to find out how rare this truck is. I would never leave any collector vehicle outdoors to rot in our weather conditions, hence it is being stored in a heated garage in our wicked Canadian climate. I currently own, from new, a 1978 Cordoba, which remains in excellent condition to this date....(you would have been approximately 12 years of age!) For interest, there is a reason we keep building vehicles with larger horsepower....the 520 stroker....527 horse...640 lbs. torque...testosterone overload. (Just like the "Hellcat".) My compliments to the person who restored it and if you could shed any more light on this gem, I would sincerely appreciate it. Wasn't here to piss anyone off...just to learn more about this outstanding truck.

It's actually the advice given many times on here to guys that want to beat on there toy and not worry about hurting the #'s motor, it's advise most would give (including me) and is actually pretty responsible. But I can see someone (you) who has a vested interest in the truck getting a little panicked when someone starts messing with a rare vehicle that needs to be preserved, looks like it's good hands now though, I'd love to have it

No fender tags on a truck. Don't remember a core tag, but I have only been around that truck a total of 16 days. Its a Purdy truck......one of not many... I have a 76 D100 swb custom 440 auto, car color Brown, parchment bucket seat, KT9 trim override....prob 1 of....like the 77. I have had my share of rare trucks, most were saved so that they would not get beat on or destroyed....even saved a few from the boneyard.....
Dinuba, California, Home of the PALOMINO ranch and 440 truck farm, where dodge trucks have a home. Have Four 1979 dodge PALOMINO trucks now.

The bottom of the hood should have a sticker with all the options and order codes.
