Decided to order up a msd atomic efi for the car. Got it so cheap I could not pass it up. Also picked up wildwood front and rear braking systems for the car

Why'll, I have a total of 3k in all of the parts. Willwood brakes front and rear and the msd efi
Normal would have been 3600-3700

Have an Atomic on our 55 T Bird 292 with a 4 speed AOD Mustang automatic transmission.
Have struggled for a year now with its predilection for the engine to stall when coming to a stop. Have gone thru several firmware upgrades to ECU. Is slowly becoming more reliable but has been a pita. Have high hopes for it once it settles down.
Can you share what was too good a price to pass?
Does the Atomic use an Idle Air Control and can you read data logs from the system. The data log can tell you if it is going rich or lean before it quits. Ideally it should idle 90% on the throttle blade setting and use the IAC (if it has one) to trim it on the fly.
This is assuming that it has a wide band O2 controller to run it closed loop.
Sorry for the hijack

Atomic has Idle Air Control(IAC)adjustment via throttle blades. Page 14 of installation manual.

Unfortunately no data logging facility which is a weakness in the system which confounds troubleshooting efforts.
System does utilize a single O2 sensor.

Gas tank was fixed by bead blasting the interior and a coating system called renew used. The efi is on the car and working. Sounds any runs good, but I have not driven it yet. I pre assembled the brand system last week. Waitin fora better time to instal as the weather in fixin to go south again.
I'll try to snap some pics

They do not make tanks for gremlins I had no choice. Plus it's a lifetime warranty do I'll have to trust it
Here is a pic or two of the brakes

I found that out trying to help, lol.
All else fails, if you need to I guess Tanks, Inc can use your old one as a pattern to make you a new EFI one, but that is the expensive route. Might be able to talk them into a slight discount as you would be providing them a new line item to sell, must be one or two other Gremlin fans out there
My old lady would love one, but I have seen exactly one in this town in the last decade and it wasn't for sale. I have vivid memories of helping push my Pop Warner football coach's Gremlin back when I was a kid. It was bright Green, lol.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

What's funny is they make a brake system and even some 1 and a eighth sway bars But not that stuff that makes it actually remain running. This gas tank liner has a lifetime warranty. So I hope it was worth the funds. Other wise I am going to be building a fuel tank. Quote:

Thanks for the likes. And as soon as the weather breakers I'm without pneumonia and time is right , I'll pop in the sway bars, the front and rear brakes and tidy up wring.
Then it's time for wheels and tires along with the repaint.
