To the best of my knowledge, no rear sway bar was available on a 2 Dr B-body until 1972. As mentioned, I think it was a police car (4 door)only option, although I believe station wagons MAY have also had them available as part of the tow package.

Only place in the 71 FPM that I could find the rear sway was in the police section. Could not find a listing for 4-dr, wagons or even taxi.

I added one to my 71 GTX off of a 72 charger. My X's rear frame rails had factory holes for mounts in them. When I scraped off undercoat to find correct position for I found the holes and were exact spots on 72 also. My 71 was early car also.

Made car handle better than any stock style vintage Mopar I've ever owned.

Yep all the 71 rear frames I've had have the dimples too. My 71RR built 10/70 has them and I have a 72 sway for a Dana that will probably on the 71RR.

It was a cool car, it's been gone about 5 or 6 years now. Originally a 383, 4 spd with A/C, FJ6 though. I never did finish it.
